Police DAV wins overall trophy at DAV University’s Youth Flair

Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar won overall trophy at Youth Flair – an inter-school competition aiming at providing students a platform to showcase their talent. DAV International School, Amritsar and DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana were declared the first and second runners up respectively at the mega event organized by DAV University, Jalandhar. More than 1300 students across Punjab participated in the event.

The programme organized by the Department of Students Welfare was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof Desh Bandhu Gupta, Registrar Dr Sushma Arya and Dean Students’ Welfare Dr Jasbir Rishi. The overall running trophy was sponsored by Dr Desh Bandhu Gupta.

The highlights of the programme included technical, non-technical, literary, fine arts, sports and cultural events. A short movie based on the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Nanak Noor-e-Ilahi. The film is produced by VIP Motion Pictures and Historian Dr Sukhpreet Singh Udhoke. The lead actor Ms Teenu Sharma, Producer Vikas Prashar and screenplay writer Harpreet Rimpy were also present during the screening of the film.
