Two students of DAV University, Anmol Sharma and Ashutosh Jaggi have been shortlisted to participate in the final round of Voice Jalandhar, an event dedicated to discovering and promoting young singing talent. The semi-final of the event organized by Dharminder Kathak and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Kala Manch was hosted by DAV University. Ten other participants will also compete with Anmol and Jaggi in the final event. Thirty budding singers participated in the event. Chief guests on the occasion were Ms Seema Soni, programming director, RJ Rajan and RJ Sandy from Radio City 91.1 FM. The guest of honour at the occasion was Dr Jasbir Rishi, Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) while other dignatories including Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Desh Bandhu Gupta and Registrar Dr Sushma Arya were also present. The stage was conducted by Raghav, a final year student of Journalism and Mass Communication while Kapil Vashisht, a student of M Sc Zoology was the student coordinator of the event.
